The story worth telling
A first pitch video does not need to contain the whole deck. Show who struggles, what your product changes and what evidence exists today. A smaller, credible argument is easier to remember than an ambitious list of future possibilities.
Three things to capture
- The founder explaining the problem
- The current product working
- A clear next conversation
Let the camera run a little before and after each action. Those extra seconds give you room to find a better cut.
Give the edit a shape
Name the person and problem
Demonstrate the present solution
Make a specific ask
Before you share it
Verify every metric and make the status of prototypes or pilots clear.
